Trying to talk myself out of...

... yet another writing project.

But what can I do when the first track on the new album has lyrics like I'll be waiting for you. You'll be waiting for me! Talk about pointing out the obvious!

The muse immediately swung into action, too - even though I was driving to a networking lunch and there was no chance in hell I'd get time to write down what she was throwing at me.

Seems there's another series taking shape in my head. There's no way I can fit in another two diary sets in between T minus... and my two day jobs. But the muse insists that she needs Yunho & Min stories to keep herself amused while we're all waiting - and I'm too emoshinki to put up a fight. So, maybe, there's a little space for a loose collection of HoMin / MinHo short stories... watch this space. (Or don't. The muse isn't nice to me right now.)

I can't not write. I tried it for a while and it turns me into an ogre. I'm much happier when I own up to the truth that I'm a writer and go from there. It's the discipline that's my downfall. I struggle to stick to one project at a time. Which is okay-ish when it's fanfic, but not so helpful when it's work. There's a reason behind Jae's diary project... shame that the muse doesn't seem to have gotten the message.

As selfish reader I hope you won't succeed talking yourself out of starting this new project!

Anyway, I just saw the pictures of Yunho's enlistment ceremony and his short hair was as much a positive surprise as Jae's!
I think I've never seen him with this short hair, even when he played some military man in Poseidon they kept his hair longer - probably because of his other activities as idol/entertainer - so I didn't have any idea how it will look on him, but I like it!

I don't think much of the hair, I have to admit. His jaw looks a lot sharper when he has a bit more hair. But it does look badass. I have to give him that.

I'll end up writing Rise as One. I can see that. Time limits be damned. But it'll have to be loose, ie. me only adding a story when the muse bugs me rather than regular updates. I tend to write HoMin as non-AU - no idea why. But we'll see.

I've just been trying to work out if Yunho's 100-day leave comes before Changmin goes in... and it might just work out if they count the 5 weeks' basic training in. There, muse, now go away chewing on that and let me earn money so I can eat.
