A great day... going to hell
Feb. 8th, 2012 03:03 pmIt's not the big disasters that kill you, it's the little ones ... she says, gnashing teeth.
And this day started sooooo well, reading Liralen's Twin Souls, which I'd only discovered yesterday.
I should have just stayed in and kept reading, but then... an amazingly annoying woman at the Job Centre had me almost screaming in frustration. A fortnight ago, when I saw one of her colleagues, it was perfectly acceptable for me to spend my time setting up my own business. Now it's not. It was like talking to a wall... and I couldn't get out of the place fast enough.
Tried to focus on the good stuff - like picking up my newly rebuilt laptop. It runs like a dream - fast, smooth, no issues - but I lost ALL my bookmarks. Every single one. Somehow the backup got screwed up. It's just what I did not need today.
I'm at the point where I take the sword from the wall, wander down to the gym, shut the door and scream.
It won't fix problems, but it will make me feel a hell of a lot better!
