This Afternoon's To Do List

Yesterday's virtual office wasn't a great success. I got a lot of stuff ticked off the list, but I was doing brainless tasks in sheer desperation to get something accomplished despite my lack of focus. Still, these also take time... so it wasn't a completely wasted day.

Today, my brain seems to be a bit more cooperative. I've managed to edit 2 chapters before getting out of bed this morning, so my plans for the day feel more feasible. Here's what's got to be done:

• edit pages 78 - 135...Done!


• website blueprint ahead of tomorrow's training session...Done.


• February invoices...Done.


• website sanity check...Done.


• Japanese lesson...Done.


• Aaaaand..... 1200 words of fiction!!! Yay!.

It's now 1pm... let's go!

The Long Goodbye has Started

I didn't think that Jaejoong would be the first one to disappear - my money was on Yunho, really - but this article suggests that he's going at the end of this month, with Yoochun to follow later this year.

I grew up with compulsory military service, though unless they planned to go to uni, our boys didn't have much choice over when they went. They were called up. It's something you live and get on with, but I was really hoping to have FanBait done and submitted before they all disappeared and now I'm gonna miss my Tempest inspiration something awful... I know that without asking. Especially as there had been rumours of another album before the summer...

Ah well, time to stop the whinging and wish them well. And here's to hoping that there will be a return. Whatever shape it may take.
