Bizarre weather, empty house, lots to do and looking / feeling gross... I really need a virtual office today to make the most of everything (and not pick at my face!)
So let's hit it - in half-hour stints from 10am:

  • 10.00 - 10.30 House Hunt

  • 10.30 - 11.00 Finish Newsletter

  • 11.15 - 12.00 Research & write furniture blog

  • 12.00 - 13.00 Breakfast / make cake / moodle around / pay bills

  • 13.00 - 13.30 Jae's army diary

  • 13.30 - 14.15 Research & write furniture blog

  • 14.30 - 15.00 House Hunt

  • 15.00 - 15.30 Keyword Research

  • 15.45 - 16.30 Jackie Blogs

  • 16.30 - 17.00 Keyword Research

  • 17.00 - 22.00 SEO furniture pages, House Hunt, Dinner, Japanese Lesson, Keyword research - I'm super happy to break that down when I get that far..

And... we're off.

A bit of a slow day, but I blame that on waking at 4am - well trained, I am - waiting for Tiger to demand breakfast and then being unable to go back to sleep when I realised that he wasn't home. It was filthy out, blowing a gale and raining and he never goes out before breakfast! So I lay there worrying until he trotted in around five and promptly crashed out without wanting breakfast.... still, despite feeling vaguely zombiefied I got a stack of stuff done. And tomorrow is another day where we'll do the rest.

When does a compass not point north?

When your team mates are a bunch of sneaky bastards who've got money on trying to catch you out, that's when.

Not sure who lost the bet this time, but the ahjussi wasn't fooled. I may be the rookie around here - for a little while longer at least - but I did pay attention in training camp. So when I check my calculations as I've been shown and look straight at the sun…. then I'm quite sure that I'm not facing north.

Tough luck, kids. Just because I sing and model for a living doesn't mean I can't do maths. Or geography.

Actually, seeing their faces was fun. Seeing the instructor's face was even better. And the five mile punishment run was fun to watch. Fortunately I had a box of sweet buns in my locker, too. So I could apologise later… for not letting them win this one.
